    QOTD: Doesn’t matter to me.
The silence was awkward, yet pleasing. I have finally caught up with 5 months of episodes now that school is out of session. Glad to be back up to date!

Another great episode as usual and some more new wines to seek out.
QOTD: I watch everyday and you always sound money in Wine Library. Perhaps a mic for some of the off-site stuff, sometimes volumes a little low then.

QOTD: I don’t understand why you would need a mic any closer to that new jersey mouth of yours, but whatever makes the show go on make it happen…

Gary, everytime you say thanks i feel bad because sometimes i dont have the time to leave a comment but i LOVE your show and your personality and if it werent for you i wouldnt know how to CRUSH IT!!!

    Gary,

Long time watcher, first time writer. Loving the excitement over Portugal, keep it up. Forget the mic, not necessary with your voice. Good job with the comment paper to show color, I thought it helps. How about if you get the call while taping an episode, free champagne?

Good stuff coming out of Portugal for sure!

QOTD: I think the sound in the office is fine, but if folks like the mike go for it.

QOTD: Yes to using a mic. At least give it a try for a bit. We’ll certainly tell you if it doesn’t meet our standards! ;)

Good show, enjoyed the info. We’re hosting our tasting group this Friday (started because of your Third Thirsty Thursday suggestion last year!) and have an all Portugal, mostly Douro region, line-up that we’re looking forward to.

Love the anticipation and the phone on the table- what a long, strange (& wonderful) trip you’re about to embark upon!

QOTD..Just say “NO” to the mike. Except when you have a guest that likes to mumble. Do you remember that jerk author you had on the show that everyone left nasty comments about? He talked under his breath and could have used a mike. I take that back. Like I said before…Just say “NO” to the mike.

hey gary, another excellent episode, on an area i haven’t explored yet. i’ve only had one portuguese still wine, and really enjoyed it. i’ll definitely have to track down the last two wines, it would be an interesting exercise to see where my palate is at.

qotd: i’m honestly not sure if you’ve ever tried a microphone on the show or not, which really makes me doubt you need it. but if you bought one already you might as well give it a shot, i’m sure people would let you know if they didn’t like it.

Please, please, please: wear the wireless mike. Being able to hear what you are saying enhances the show.

could not care less about the mike. I have to say tho i really prefer the episodes in the hot seat with a fast pace and nerdy content. I do have a couple of unrelated suggstions tho. Every 2 months or so why not make a show for wine newbies, after a a few of those , make ‘em a group link em up and use that as a wine tutorial. also, i know you have featured beer more often than any other non wine related topic, but i would love to see an episode devoted to aged beer. thanks for making the best vido blog ever.
