Great great great episode. I’m drinking the 2005 Relentless RIGHT NOW and it really does kick serious butt.

Although for me it was more low batt (minimal actual TN’s) than laid back, as a long-time Vayniac I give you props Gary for having TimF on the show, and thanks to Tim for showing up in our neck of the woods, and for selecting the Shafer.
QOTD: The end is the end when it becomes the beginning. When Charlie places the everlasting gobstopper on Wonka’s desk and in placing his hand over it he says “So shines a good deed in a weary world.”

This is my first post, but I love to watch your shows and have been watching you for a while now. I always get excited about listening to your shows and then finding the wines that you review in California to try for myself. I just watched your show with Mondavi an was excited to get some Sau Blanc from Charles Krug right after. Then I was extremely impressed to find the “Relentless” at a local supermarket in the Sacramento, Ca area so I just had to purchase it and taste it for myself. Thanks for all that bring to your fans on a weekly basis.

Gary- First time I’ve seen your show and I gotta say…it was AWESOME! Really enjoyed watching your wild and funny rants coupled with Tim’s laidback style…simply an entertaining show. Plan to watch your show on a regular basis for sure.

I too am a long time viewer, finally dowloading the flash player for episode 3. That video Tim did for the contest was really funny (”area idiot”) and there were others as well (backyard tasting?). Good show.

    QOTD: Good question!

Oh, yeah, I’ve watched since episode #1 as well – and I have managed to keep up, although it has been difficult in the last year to do so.

Props to Tim F, one of the originals and an All-Time Great Vayniac. Nice show as well – a lot of memories and a lot of laughs. I really like the Shafer Relentless as well. I have 4 bottles of the 2005 in the cellar. I loved the 2001-2003 as well.

QOTD: I’m not sure how, but it will end soon. :-(

WTF, How about Chris the Cop on the comfy couch? I’m going to tell my Westchester County Cop friends to start looking for your car on the Saw Mill Pkwy. Good show.

That guy was an incredible guest! I have to say, probably one of my favorite guests of all time. They had a great give-and-take. Have that dude on again!

QOTD: It ends when Microsoft merges with GM

Shafer wine is timeless and only gets better with Age! Had the 94 hillside a month ago and it was drinking so insanely balanced! A classic American story of a hard working honest family.

    Great show gary!

Great show! Kickin it old school!

QOTD – After Gary’s 4th child he will be overwhelmed with child care and turn the show over to Mott who will taste only desert wines.

    Nice episode!
I’m guilty. I don’t watch that many any more. But when I have a moment, it’s always entertaining! Keep up the good work, fellas… Tim, have a great Monte Bello vertical, too.

Can’t believe how long it has been since I watched an Episode, and I feel guilty for not watching this when it was first released (sorry Tim).

Loved the relaxed informal aspects, Tim and Gary come across as very comfortable talking together, and he didn’t talk over Tim as he’s done to some guests in the past.

    QOTD – Unexpectedly!

Nice sofa show. Fun to watch and hear some little back story.

I had some Shafer some years ago and it was very rich and worth the $.

QOTD: It ends when you retire and die of boredom.

I took a few days off and have several shows to catch up on.
