    Hey Gary,
Congrats on the little one. Wow, what a cutie! And thinking a few years out….there are so many more athletic opportunities than there were when I was growing up. We traveled all over California playing competitive tournament softball for 8 years with my two oldest daughters,a great life experience, and that’s what life is all about. So move over Jets, and make room for Misha!
So sorry you were dissapointed in the Dolcetto. The wine has been rated by 20 or more critics now, with ratings at the lowest end at 88 and as high as 93 by respected retailers, judges, and just people who love interesting well made wines. It is a joy to pour at tastings and wine events and watch people’s eyes light up after tasting a wine that has limited familiarity. Perhaps through shipping such a distance where wine is regularly subject to temperatures too hot or too cold could have been the culprit. But I will certainly leave you to your opinion. If you’d like to try another bottle, please let us know.

It will be interesting to hear your thoughts on the Nebbiolo (double gold, Lodi Intl Wine Competition).

    Winemaker, Due Vigne

I was hoping you’d give Misha some air time when you came back. She stole the show, Gary! And look at all that hair! My kids were all practically bald for the first year. Not little Mish. Spectacular.

It is so fun to see you with “new daddy syndrome”. Every murble is worth an interruption, every move noted and loved. Fun times. congratulations, again!

QOTD: You need to ask? My wife and kids, of course. I’ve got five ways to find the sun where I live.

    GV,

Thanks for including us! She is incredible.

That’s one sniffy-sniff I will not be partaking in.

QOTD: No kids yet, so it’s the wife and dog

I love it! She is so cute. I actually teared up a little when you said she was your sunshine; that’s actually what I call my two daughters too.

My sunshine(s) are my wife and two daughters. :)

Awesome. Misha is just adorable. Just had my first daughter four months ago, and I will tell you that a sniffy sniff on the diaper should be done without swirling!!! I NEED one of those outfits for my baby Charlotte.

QOTD: My wife, and my daughter.

    Gary,

Congratulations my friend. A very beautiful little girl. As we briefly discussed, my son was born this time last year (my sunshine)and it has been the best year of my life by far. Enjoy all the firsts (smile, laugh, roll over, crawl, steps…) it will be a wild ride but one that will be the most rewarding of your life. All of your friends here at l’Eté du Vin wish you and your family all the best and look forward to seeing you, and Misha, here in Nashville again in the future. Now go give that diaper a “Sniffy-Sniff”, chances are good Misha has her own “Secret Pack” for you.

    Cheers,

    Collin Husbands

So precious and adorable. Love the sniffy-sniff onesy.

QOTD: My hubby and Bitsy, my Samoyed dog.

I gravitate to Cal-Itals and Italian varietals produced in everywhere but Italy. There are a few surprisingly good ones, but most are meh or sometimes undrinkable. Still a lot of fun hunting for a good one.

Congrats GV, My sunshine are my 2 girls! Oldest now a sophmore in college and my youngest a junior in high school. If you think babies are tough to deal with wait for the teenage years! Everyone told me that and I didn’t believe…believe it!

Give this diaper a sniffy sniff…LMAO
I’m sure you will be finding this new-found-scent in many earthy wines in the near future.

Congratulations again on that beautiful little miracle of yours.

QOTD – On a rainy day, my TeddyBear looks over at me with his warm, chocolate brown eyes and smiles ever so sweetly…that’s my sunshine.

P.S. How does it feel when the guest cuts you off mid-sentence? How the tables have turned LOL

Awww, she’s so cute and you’ll are so lucky. My sunshine is my girlfriend Jessica. And my nephew and brand new nieces! :)

Hey Gary – gorgeous little girl. Doesn’t she look perfect! Looks like she’s getting more sleep than you! Thanks for sending out the email to make sure we knew about the episode.

Wine – I’m with you, I prefer my Italian wines from Italy. I went to a tasting in Florence in April and got a superb Dolcetto for 10 Euros, almost as tasty as the 56 Euro 2001 Barolo I decided I couldn’t afford. I’ve been looking for dolcetto wines ever since you show many months ago, but there are very few available in the UK. The advice paid off when I reached Italy though!

    QOTD – My wife, Liz

p.s. I see you’ve entered the Top 50 Most Powerful People in the Wine World list in this month’s Decanter magazine. Your 2nd appearance this year!

Nice ep. Congrates! Misha’s a doll.

LOVE your new distraction, Gary!! I didn’t hear a word you said, either. Just watching you and hearing Baby Vay in the background…priceless!

Not long ago you asked, “Long hair or short hair?” You need to start growing yours to catch up with Misha…babies with HAIR…beyond adorable! And your life (you already know this) will never be the same. God bless you all!

And do NOT blink…my “life” (son, Michael) is 26 now…yesterday, and I know it was just yesterday, well…you’ve made me simultaneously cry and smile with your BEST episode ever.

    Gary!
My friend showed me the video of you talking at the Expo in 06´and from then on, i´ve been a vanyack. Not in the sense that i´ve watched all of your episodes, but rather from the business side of things. I think what you have built up with WineLibrary is incredible and inspiring. I have so many ideas now, but unlike before, i´m not dismissing them as dreams. I will make them reality. Thanks for the kick in the ass!
    Take it easy,

Great show! Thank you for introducing Misha (I am guilty of giving diapers a “sniffy sniff” too!!!

My sunshine is my 13 month old son!!! Babies are a blessing from God! Enjoy your little bundle and many congratulations!

I have tears in my eyes as I write up this comment! Misha is an absolute angel and I find it so inspirational to see how enthusiastically, admirably, and lovingly you have assumed your new role while continuing to deliver the same Gary Vay-ner-chuk we’ve all grown to know and love. Hats off to you and Lizzie! I look forward to seeing more of the “new” you on WLTV as well as the new greatest little guest.

QOTD: Feeding my loved ones a fabulous homecooked meal (along with fabulously delicious wine) is the epitome of my sunshine.
