I know I'm way late, almost a month on my viewing and commenting on this episode...but hey I lived in Italy for awhile and that's just the way I roll. Anywho I'm really happy you did this episode when you did, I am currently living in Munich and am now certain that I must make a trip over to the west and see firsthand what german wine culture's all about...because here there's a serious (and disappointing) lack of wine culture...i guess no surprise considering the munich's reputation as one of the beer capitals of the world... :-/ QOTD: Hells yes!!

It's probably just that I'm pretty new to the show. I've only watched about thirty so far, but I'm curious. Did you ask him if he would do another show if he is ever in the area? Did he say yes or did he run away screaming? I mean you owe it to yourself and all of your fans to be honest in your critique, but man that was brutal. Anywho, I actually thought the idiomatic English was funny and I'm sure he appreciated finding out how real (or at least real weird/funny) people speak. You are awesome Gary. Don't change a thing, except maybe pay attention to Thumpers's mama's advice. You know, don't verbally pimp slap people or something to that effect LOL. Don't get me wrong though.
