    QOTD:
Let’s see; I eat my cheese at the end of the meal, button my top button, only drink espresso that I grind from equal exchange beans, build my own computers, run linux, have a Prius, have 1200+ wine cellar with only about 20 domestic, no cable or satellite tv, listen to npr, love opera…

QOTD: I calculated all of the different sizes of tires available that could replace the rear tires of my sports car, leading to faster overall times around the local track.

Good find – I like the interesting wines like Pinot Noir Blanc that you occasionally find.

Love your dad from the other day too! You two remind me of my wife and her dad, very entertainin.

QOTD: Probably making an obscure reference to pharmacy/drugs when no one cared or wanted to hear a thing about it.

QOTD: As a proud member of the CKC I live in a small room in an apartment. I calculated how long in would take investing in solar energy to run the gadgets in my little room to pay for themselves… 15 YEARS!! No solar for me. I’ll have a BS in Electrical Engineering 10 months from now so I guess that is my answer next year.

You were really right about the squeaky chairs….time to replace them!

QOTD ~ attempted to take up PHP programming to develop what is now a booming site. Lets just say I now have a full time programmer because it didn’t go as planned.

QOTD: Most everything I do has some degree of nerdity to it, depending on whom you speak with….

Love Anne Amie Pinots (I try to visit every other year or so). But $45 does seem a bit high for a “novelty” wine. I will attempt to find this wine, though. And what’s the deal with Vintage59’s comment? One step away from cracking up?

QOTD: I dabble in molecular gastronomy. I love the fact that I buy some of my cooking equipment at Home Depot!

QOTD; two days ago I bought a T-shirt that featured the original advertisement for the first (fourth episode) star wars movie, the real nerdy part was that it was the poster that was put up in China so all the wording is in Chinese.

A sad, sad day today. Two icons during the prime of my life passed today. I am crushed but thank goodness there’s an outlet that I enjoy every day no matter what happens and that is WLTV with my hero, Gary Vay-ner-chuk.

I love the one fun show and can see myself nerding it up with this wine. I know their “red” pinot is very, very good.

QOTD: I participated from beginning to “end game” in an internet strategy game called Travian, only to be defeated by a traitor.

I raise my glass in honor of Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson. MJ’s performance of Billie Jean on Motown’s 25th Anniversary gives me goosebumps.

QOTD: i spent 2 weeks on a single Empire Earth game. by the time i had finished my military had inflicted over 14K casualties. that is a lot.

Still love your show! I hope you do it forever.

Wish more wines would list clone info.

    Keep it nerdy!

Cool episode. I had only thought of Pinot Noir in that manner when dealing with champagne…
QOTD: my worm composting bin. They are amazing and everyone should have one.

Interesting review- we do pinot noir in all its guises-25 acres of the stuff in the Australian Alpine region-yep it snows-we have done a white pinot noir for a number of years-no oak-and let the fruit talk-keep it really dry and the stonefruits shine thru-mid palate is always big and the whole package has character. We sell it for around $20 Oz and it seems to go out the cellar door- I agree that $45 US is at the upper end for this experience. That said pinot noir does make a really nice white wine and I encourage drinkers to seek it out.

Damn I really like the single bottle nerd episodes. I like them so much, I’d actually like more geekdom with them. Even though the wine didn’t work out with your pal Gary, I’m gonna research them in the future.

QOTD: after many years, my inner geek made me build a computer from the ground up…..never again.

    Jake

Interesting! I’d love to try this Pinot Noir Blanc.

QOTD: I attended a themed blind tasting wine party called “Show Me Your Pinot.” Pretty nerdy. The next one is reportedly called “There’s No Riesling Not To Come.”

    Thanks Gary

I can’t believe you wasted that much wine.

    Wazzuppp!!!!!!!

Fun nerd show! I knew Pinot was made to be white wine at times. Never had one though…Maybe sometime, if I win the lottery.

QOTD: I’m not a total nerd, but I like nerdy stuff: theoretical physics, teaching myself Deutsch, wine, classical music, etc…

    Yeah, I’m a nerd…

    Love nerds!

    Nice Eduacational ep Gary,

I have tasted a Pinot Noir Blanc out of the Yarra Valley here in Australia. Didn’t blow my socks off, good for the novelty though.

QOTD….I got new glasses 3 weeks ago….they make me look a little nerdy

    Thanks for the content.

QOTD: Most who know me would say watching WLTV. I cannot disagree.
