Was in NYC last week and went to Clo. Great wine bar. Loved the variety of the selection and the price range. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend eating before going though as there were not many nibles.

QOTD: Without a doubt, the Water Street Wine & Coffee Bar in Peoria, Illinois. It’s the complete package, great people, great food, nice choices in wines, and something new to try now and again! Love it!

I like Vintage in downtown Philly. It’s where I actually got my wine start.

I know a lot of people like Tria in Philly. There are two locations for Tria and the one on it’s either 11th or 12th street was VERY snobbish. The waitresses were very stuck up and seemed to perpetuate the stereotypes that make the average joe steer away from wine. I’ve heard good thinkgs about the Tria on twenty something street.

Barcelona in New Haven, CT. Delicious Spanish wine, great tapas and a chic, but inviting atmosphere. Love the table with the fireplace in the middle. It is always packed here on weekends.

Whoa! Great bar for oenophiles! Loved looking at it. Did make me feel a bit “mechanical” – especially the machines pouring your wine for you. Where’s the love? Where’s the passion?

QOTD: Fave wine bar? That would be Cru~A Wine Bar… Many locations, but MINE is in Shops at Legacy, North Plano – North Dallas area. If you go there tell Annette that KathyD says hello!

cool episode, glad to see you exploring NYC a little. it really makes me want to check out Clo while i’m here.

QOTD- definitely Tria in philadelphia. not only do they do wine, but they have speciality beers and cheeses as well, which makes for a great all-around experience.
