Great show. Loved the backstage pass to your wine biz. Kudos to Mott for grabbing the camera so quickly. He’s a pro. Now when you say chicken I think of raw chicken in the fridge. Thanks for that. Apples make me think of fall. Bye for now. I’m off to find this fabu wine.

Personally, I love when you mix-it-up! Theres an appreciation for the “classic” WLTV format, after youve been traveling, doing the show from home and have guests…..its all good….just sayn..

After watching over 500 episodes, I finally saw an opportunity you didn’t take and I’m disappointed. You had the MOTT apple slices and didn’t try them. What a great chance for a Falanghina/Apple pairing.

Oh well, can’t nail them all~

love your recommendations and your incite. I have a flower shop Gary i love your concept you did with wine library instead of just working in a wine store. Think flower library tv could be a hit. I have great incite on the floral industry please advise.

Excellent episode. Never heard of falanghina before but will definitely seek it out. Wonderful that there are wines out there of this quality at a $12 price.

Question of the day ….. Chicken has to be Piri piri chicken I had on holiday in Lisbon with my partner and that we have been trying to reproduce ever since chez nous…
Apples….has to be Calvados, my favourite digestive. And recently a braeburn apple ice cider from Kelowna, Okanagen, British Columbia. Amazing complexity has to be tasted to be believed.

I guess you did have to get a little crazy with the laid back Friday episode. I thought it was a little much, but fun. I am glad you did a Falanghina. I agree that it is a severely underappreciated category, as are many Italian whites. What was really nice was that you actually liked the wine.

qotd: soup, poor conditions on farms; sauce, orchards

Those were the first things that came to mind; I guess I was in a product, source frame of mind.

Love these eps on the couch and having a little fun with the camera. Also, nice job keeping it informative with a new grape varietal. Joel

QOTD: Don’t like them together in a stew. The sane and Senior Vaynerchuk has very good taste in hats. When I go to France each summer I wear a similar hat. It is a wine hunters hat. Question back at yea? If you had to wear a hat on WLTV what would it be?

    Fun episode guys!
QOTD: 1. I think of this great dish my grandmother sometimes makes. I can’t discribe ist but it’s really awesome.
    2. I realise that I haven’t had an apple in ages. Thats bad!

So I have a problem. I’ve never had a Falanghina. I want to try it. But my wine fridge is totally full. I literally have bottles stacked on top of each other. How the heck am I supposed to keep up with all the stuff I want to try? Gary, please, I need your professional advice.

Great show, BTW. Full little chicken & apple thing, especially since you found some apple in the wine, too. Nice to see Sasha hanging around.

    QOTD1: Pot pie. Homemade.

QOTD2: Favorite flavor of all time. Calvados, Baby!

QOTD: Thinking (on both parts) that you had no idea for a QOTD and pulled that one out of your ass ;) .

Great show! Thanks for the intro to Falanghina.

For those of us who have never been to Wine Library, you should do a tour of the place. Would be interesting to see the whole operation.

Interesting still on a roll but a little more playful. Falanghina sounds like and excellant food wine but will it stand alone.

QOTD: I think of paprika chicken and a good reisling with it. Macintosh,
whenever I think of apples this variety comes to mind even though I live in Washington St.
