QOTD: Favorite is fried, but due to health concerns, I usually roast it with lemon and herbs and take off the skin. Also marinated in olive-oil,herb-wine mixture and then grilled.

I love the Mary J. rockin in the background. That look you shot at Mott when he mention Matt is a Giants fan was priceless.

QOTD: My Mom’s Chicken Schnitzel. I know it sounds weird, but its awesome. Or Chicken and Apples from the Wine Library Fridge.

    QOTD: Chicken tagine & couscous.

Call me square, but I like the old-school WLTV episodes the best: tasting a slew of wines, especially blind, free associating flavour profiles, the *majority* of the talk is about wine. Very high info QPR.

Least favourite shows: any time there is a guest.

    Not with apples…

QOTD – There are a TON of ways that I enjoy chicken, but I do like good chicken fingers with quality BBQ sauce… mmmmmm.

QOTD: Right now, I love it grilled.

One small correction: it’s Arizonan, not ArizonIan. Awesome episode from my current state.

good show man, I am feeling the spontaneousness in the last few shows.

Question of the day, I love me some BBQ Chicken. With a big Merlot

Another cracker show gary – Nice analysis on the Callaghan Z5 – inexpensive version of a Barossa Shiraz or Turley…criminey the wine must be good!!!

qotd….Love KFC burgers…not sure whether they have the KFC hot & Spicy Zinger burger over there in the US, but every now and again I have to dig into one of them…

    Thanks Gary

Nice show. If you’re talking of seriously expanding your palate I’m just wandering when you’ll try some wines from Asia (China, Japan, Korea)?

QOTD: What a tough one, everyone loves chicken. Too difficult so I’ll give you my favourite five ways: fried in a burger, marinated with satay sauce on a stick, roasted, in soup and sashimi.

    Cheers
    Andrew

Very glad you did a show based on a state. Keep them coming.
I hope your paying Mott well, Having him run all over the place for you.

QOTD: I love Chicken grilled into strips on a salad.

    Keep up the good work.

GV lookin like Joe Pesci at the end there with the wave. :)

QOTD: Baked chicken breast meat with some seasoning and sea salt. Just a healthy dose of protein, but probably a bit boring to most.

Actually a pretty damn good show since I have close friends in AZ who tout their wines all the time! I must admit, the last one looked promising and I’ll have to try and find a few bottles.

QOTD: I like Sir Lawrence’s (Jacque Pepin’s) version above though I have done that with Cornish hens and a brick! Divine but since I need to come up with a chicken recipe, I place a hunk of Boursin cheese in the cavity and tarragon herbs, garlic, butter and more Boursin under the skin and roast it on the grille. Absolutely orgasmic and match it with an Australian Dead Arm Shiraz or an Oregon Amalie Robert Pinot. Yum

    Cheers!

Great show, AGAIN! You are a force.

Chicken – I’ve tried it almost any way it can be cooked. My favorite is BBQ’d over charcoal with indirect heat and then topped with steaming hot Montgomery Inn BBQ sauce, with roasted corn on the cob and (of course) potato salad. And, although I am a huge red wine drinker – it needs a hefty white.

Love the show. Love the energy. Love the thunder!

I like to consume chicken in nugget form with honey mustard sauce.

Great Show love to see new areas for wine explored further. It really excited me how the wine industry is continuing to grow in the US and around the world.

    QOTD: Chicken enchiladas!

I agree with the statement about wineries just getting into the game maybe charging too much. Several TN wineries that have decent wine, I think the price point scares some away.

QOTD: Chicken breast marinted in zesty itallian seasoning, and then grilled. Served on top of rice. Love it!!

Well, good for you Arizona. You held your own.
Gary, I like very much the “States” reviews. I know that some have been clunkers in the past, but for me, that’s ok, as I still enjoy the trip.
QOTD- My favorite way to enjoy chicken, is to eat it. How else?

  25. July 15, 2009

    Chateau_Plonk

QOTD: Cut out the backbone, flatten her out, marinate in whatever, grill. Simple and delicious. Coq au vin made with white wine is also nice.
