Gary, any chance on a Ribeira Sacra wine region episode. Was reading up on some up and coming wines for this somewhat unknown Spanish wine region. Keep going strong, everyday you crush-it harder.

Nice Job Gary, I like the fact you gave Arazona a shot and an Honest opinion. OK!!! Now keep heading South until you hit BRAZIL than stop and do a show on Brazilian Wine, you may change a lot of viewers mind that Chile and Argentina are the ONLY countries in South America that makes wine.

78 points for the second wine? Weird score considering the way you talked about it. The score seemed to contradict what you were saying…I thought you might say something in the 80’s…

    Qotd – Feta stuffed.

QOTD: HAS to be fried chicken, although my wife just made this awesome dish with grilled chicken with an avocado/tomato topping that was AMAZING!

I’ll have to get out and try some Arizona wines. Good show. Love to see other places making wine.

QOTD: All about the Fried Chicken baby! Give it to me hot and crispy right out of my grandmothers pan.

I stopped by the Wine Library on my way home(Virginia) from New York this past Sunday. It was my first visit, and my wife and I were impressed with what we saw, and purchased.

You keep making them I’ll keep watching them.

If you’ve never had chicken through a straw, well, you just ain’t livin’.

Everyone’s giving recipes. I don’t get it. When I heard the question I immediately thought “method of delivery”. Chopsticks, a fork, fingers? I guess the real question is, how would Buck Rogers consume chicken?

Next show – Michigan rieslings. Ha, just kidding.

    QOTD (response to this episode).
    Chipolte Lime Ck. Grilled.
AZ wines remind me of our TX wine industry. You actually mentioned it, need to find the right varietals and quit trying to imitate CA or France!
I spoke w/ Kim McPherson, best of Texas winemakers, and he thinks TX should do more Rhone or Spanish. NOT cab and chard.
Sounds like AZ is in that same quandry.
Great show. Still ‘changing the wine world’

QOTD (#700. most memorable WLTV): SORRY. Got behind. Watched 700 & wanted to comment. No hesitation. Two-buck Vaynerchuck!
It was really, really, the 1st ever episode that I can remember watching. I think I found your site and clicked it, though it may not have been the current episode. Then I promptly walked out of the office (restaurant sommelier/mgr) and grabbed the nearest girl, Melissa (all female staff) & made her watch it. “action-figure” is still a descriptor in our restaurant!

I just found a recipe on the back of a Bisquik box for backed Parmesean Crusted chicken that was amazing. I’ve been eating the crap out of it.

Are the wine clubs dead? Will my name be in blue if I join the dead wine club?

Yeah!!!! Az wines, but I think the wrong ones. Callaghan Z5 is good, but there is Arizona Stronghold and Dos Cabezas as well that is very good.Oh yeah and Maynard’s wines are out of this world for Az wines….

QOTD: Kung Pao Chicken is a spicy stir-fry dish from the Sichuan Province in Central China. It is prepared with marinated diced chicken, crunchy peanuts, diced red bell pepper, and sliced zucchini, all tossed in the wok with fresh green onions… My favorite from Panda Express. (A W S O M E)

wings of course, hot buffalo style with a scoop of macaroni salad underneath, which tastes fantastic after the sauce from the wings mixes with it….

OK…you finally lured me into commenting. I’ve been watching your episodes from my cabin on the Current River for a couple of months now and find them both informative and entertaining. As a Missouri hillbilly and novice wine connoisseur, I was curious to see if you would sample wines from lesser known wine areas…and now I know that you do! Many states, including Missouri, have wineries whose offerings I’m sure many would quickly dismiss, but I’m glad to see that you’ll go out on the occasional limb and sample some wines from little-known wine areas.

I love the show, and I like my chicken…dead, first of all…and then grilled with a variety of seasonings! Thanks again!

Oh yeah, I think I’d like the Z5.

Really like DB’s idea about making a wine-tasting tour via the 50 states.

Had a Good but Big Busy Day–your show took my mind away completely & fabulously (is that a word?…).

QOTD: Chicken Montgomery–a recipe I developed myself when living in Montgomery, Ala., hence the name…made with chicken breasts, mushrooms, wild rice, certain herbs, Yum!

One of the things I like best about Arizona is that they don’t participate in the Daylight Savings Time chicanery. Plus the people are nice, at least from the vantage point of someone who’s only visited & not lived there.

love the roaming! Arizona wineries – hahahaha. oh, sorry.

QOTD: consume chicken? I like it in a KCC bucket, but only do that once every 5 years, cause it’s so bad for you. the most way I consume chicken is: grilled on the outdoor BBQ, nothing on it but olive oil and a little pepper and salt.

reading these comments is making me hungry. I like the chicken tika masala thing over rice.
