A few months ago I ran some statistical tests comparing climate data (Temperature & Precipitation) from Arizona (Chiricahua, Sonoita, Skull Valley, Canelo,…) with benchmark regions from the rest of the world, and found out there is a pretty high correlation with the Mendoza region in Argentina.
In fact, it makes some sense since both have a desertic to semi-desertic climate with summer (monsoon) rains.
Planting Malbec seems a good bet.

Beer butt or beer can chicken is one of my favorites. A little bit of wood smoke from the grill and this chicken is hard to beat.

How about a show on Texas wines? I’m from TX so I’m partial but I’m curious to know what you think. Been catching the podcasts for about a year now and I’ve learned a lot, thanks!
