Beer butt or beer can chicken is one of my favorites. A little bit of wood smoke from the grill and this chicken is hard to beat.

How about a show on Texas wines? I’m from TX so I’m partial but I’m curious to know what you think. Been catching the podcasts for about a year now and I’ve learned a lot, thanks!

QOTD: uff, so many ways… it’s like asking what is you favorite wine or favorite sex position… depends on the mood… I have to pick one, it would be not to spicy cause then you can have dog meat and think it’s a chicken, well lets have it Chicken Salad with a good Garganega(Soave)

I have been to them all and Callaghan’s is by far the best winery in the state of Arizona. Page Springs makes some very good wine, but the majority of their grapes are still sourced from California. I have never had a bad wine from Callaghan’s and their wines has been served at White House dinners on more than one occassion.

I purchased a few very nice wines at Page Springs winery last week, but I will not yet consider their wines Arizona wines until all the grapes are grown in their vineyards.

Gary is correct Arizona is on the move in the wine making world.

Who would it thought in a good Arizona wine , I can’t wait to try the Z5.
