this woman is as lush as her wine descriptions.
if i weren't spoken for.
i'm SAYING.
do people realize the martha stewarts of the world have reference points?
i hated the rich girls i went to school with and LOVED their moms.
she's magic.
love this interview.

What is that glass that Gary uses anyway? Looks like the Riedel Burgundy Grand Cru but not exactly…anybody knows?

This was awesome. I've been a huge fan of Heidi Peterson Barrett ever since I first tasted the first release of Maya back in the early 90's. (Paid $41 retail). In 2004 I drank my bottle of 1992 Dalle Valle Cab. which I also bought on release. (Paid $25 retail.) As time went on, I could no longer find, nor afford her wines. But, I'm still a huge fan, and this is the first time I've ever seen her or heard her, so this was a real treat.

Best episode ever Gary. Congratulations on letting your guest speak without talking over her. (I think she was channelling a little Mom vibe that you didn't talk back to!)
I saved this episode in my email box until work quieted down so I could watch it all at once. I heartily agree with Heidi about Syrah. It is what I am drinking the most of currently.
