Wow, Nick G. might be my all time favorite guest on this show! I’m kinda disappointed that there aren’t that many comments…. I just saw the episode with the master of wine lady, who I know everyone loved….but the things Nick had to say not only enhanced my growing knowledge of wine from technical perspective, but appealed to me in say uh…blue collared way tremendously (I’m sure that didn’t make much sense). I really really really loved what he said about tasting at room temp. vs. chilled….how despite the fact that you can discern more elements of wine at warmer temperature, a wine served at the cooler/intended temperature gives the wine the right structure! And I hear GV talking all the time about how a certain wine appeals to him at different stages of the wine tasting, yet the structure is hollow, etc.. It was such a pleasure to hear Nick talk about wine, this is an episode that I can watch again and again in the future and still enjoy!
