I had this wine a couple of weeks ago and ……goshhhhhhhh…… Caymus never stop impressing me…..the nose was like you are saying very candy like but with some other elegant sweet and complex notes. Palate is to die for….I agree with Sasha…this a 95 point wine…I think It will get even more polish and elegant. This year i havent had many of the high end wines …..cause you know what's happenning….but this wine you should go for it…..it worth every penny….in my oppinion it supersedes 2006 vintage

I hate these shows, because everytime they're finished i can't wait for your dad to be on again……….
I just love the interactions you two have. “If only i had some chese…..” was killer fun.
Note to self G, always have some cheese lying around for when Sasha's on!

I met Sasha in the parking lot, directing traffic in the rain, the day before Thanksgiving, Wine Library’s biggest day. He took time to talk to me–he’s just like he is on the podcast in person–and I was so impressed that he was out there in the parking lot. He’s a hard-worker and you see where Gary gets it. Shout out to Sasha, the show’s the best when you’re on!

Love you show and now find myself frequently using it as an additional reference site. I am also a ‘huge’ fan of cellartracker and love the fact you are now linked in with them!

A question: I would love your opinion of how the 2007 Caymus compares to and differs with the 2007 Caymus Special Selection (SS). I respect the fact you do frequently take QPR into account and I am interested in what one gets for the extra $40. I have purchased the regular Caymus and as yet i have not purchased the Special selection, nor have I tasted the SS in the past, thus I would love your opinion.
