QOTD: $$$ – profits from all of the wine that I buy from WineLibrary and, more recently, Cinderella.

QOTD: Comment? Of course! Always! So- I think I’m getting you some well wishes and a well-formed comment for your birthday, maybe even a little present for Misha, but if you’re anywhere near the East Coast anytime soon… aw man it is MY TREAT!!

Keep it going Gary with the PG bashing, lets show the world that Italy does more than ONE white wine.

qotd: How’s about two bottles of spectacular biodynamic Cab? I sent you a few bottles of Aum’s 2005 Cab a while back, and hope you’ll enjoy and share them in good health. Happy Birthday in advance!

QOTD: I’m leaving a comment for every episode this week, also going to be throwing in a little olde school WLTV reminders.

Would you say that these wines are golden like the golden locks of Hulk Hogan circa 1985 or 1992? ;)

QOTD: Hmmm I dunno… Maybe I’ll try to like football and support the Jets? I’ll give that a spin, but, not making any promises. I will be better about leaving comments here though, okay?

each wine delivered half of the formula, but the Mustilli came out on top, carried by the balance…excellent short and sweet analysis of both wines and still some time to hang with us. many thanks as usual.
We’ve had Falanghina a few times in the last couple of years, and were at a tasting event this summer…I think I may have posted the wine list here…I was fixated on the Vermentino but Andrea insisted that we get some of the De Conciliis Falanghina as well ( http://www.viticoltorideconciliis.it/ )…serious minerality meets tropical fruits, it was excellent with the seared scallops pairing.

    QOTD: It’s a surprise…and I’m mailing it to Mott.

    Hi Gary,
QOTD: Gary I’m giving you your future for your BD present…the older you get, the better it gets.
It’s been a while since I’ve posted, but I generally love falanghina.
I find it more complex than the other Campagna whites (fiano, greco di tufo).
It’s a geek grape in America, but it shouldn’t be…it’s kind of like chardonnay with balls. A good wine with cheeses, cream sauces, and even cured meats.
Hey Man, could you please taste the Washington siegerrebe’s and lemberger I left you last spring? It would mean alot to me. Thanks for all you do. Peace and Happy 34th!

QOTd, for your b-day ( what do you get the guy who has everything…) I think I will let your Jets beat my Bills the next time they play…..

QOTD: Selfishly I’m all about my birthday which is Sunday.

I enjoyed a Falanghina after you talked about it earlier this year or maybe last year.

34 is NOT old, and neither is 44, all of which you’ll believe when you’re 54. Happy birthday, Gary, and welcome back. We’ve all missed you.

What am I getting you for your birthday? A joke:

A pastor, a doctor and an engineer were waiting one morning for a particularly slow group of golfers.

The engineer finally said, “What’s with these guys? We must have been waiting for 15 minutes!”

The doctor answered, “I don’t know, but I’ve never seen such ineptitude!”

“Here comes the greens keeper, let’s have a word with him,” said the pastor. “Hey, George. What’s with that group ahead of us? They’re pretty slow, aren’t they?”

And George replied, “Oh, yes, that’s a group of blind fire fighters. They lost their sight saving our clubhouse from a fire last year, so we always let them play for free anytime.”

The group was silent for a moment.

The pastor was thoughtful. “That’s so sad. I think I’ll say a special prayer for them tonight.”

The doctor too. “Nice idea. I’m going to contact my ophthalmologist buddy and see if there’s anything he can do for them.”

The engineer said, “Why can’t these guys play at night?”

    Daria
