ok…I’m counting my comment on the new show as #1. I never get number one, and I think it is a conspiracy. Every time a new show is posted, for the first 1-30 minutes the option of posting doesn’t appear to me.

I liked the La Posta, didn’t purchase any Lindaflor, but BW suggested the Altocedra? Malbec which I haven’t opened yet, but have a feeling I’m going to like it. 🙂

However, my respect for the quality of your posts, my sympathy for you never getting #1, and my complete and total admiration for anyone with a Bubbles avatar move me to offer the top spot to you as a gesture of friendship.

As to the problem, GV must pay Mott a fortune that he can turn down a free finner. Hopefully we can get him to call up the Disqus boys and make em fix this thing. The comment bells and whistles are the only thing that makes Disqus worth the problems, and if the comment section has this many issues, I don’t see the value. The Disqus guys seemed really nice and sharp when they were on the show. Hopefully they will iron this out.

Qotd: Cahors, that’s no question for me. But I can’t pick a fav producer, that’s too hard of a question.
I’ve had the Clos Coutale a few times and I don’t remember caring for it as much as you seemed to. Maybe I’ll try it again.

My favorite thing about portugal is the tremendous value vinho verdes and a nice good porto in the winter time : ) your the man gary had great time at your wine party in the city and meeting you, class act, cant wait hear you on sirius

Nice, short show. Very informative. I love Cahors wines. This one sounds like an excellent QPR as well.

I like this format as well as the other shows – I think doing a slightly deeper dive on the varietal, vintner, etc. are a nice change up. I wouldn’t want them all this way – the blind tastings are the best as others have expressed.

Had a Malbec tasting this weekend – The Ben Marco did well in the grouping as normal – but I liked the Bodega Colome quite a bit.

Yeah you are right, Le Gouleyant has the same price point that La Coutale and it’s great.
I had Pigmentum 100% Malbec made by the same producer Vigouroux. It’s great too. Enjoy Cahors
