GV just doesn’t want to put up a new episode because he doesn’t want to admit to Mottthat his prediction was BS!

QOTD: I’d love to see another episode spotlighting WASHINGTON STATE. I feel that Washington has been repeatedly underrated and underrepresented with the quality and diversity of their wines. Come on now, it’s not the 90’s anymore, Washington isn’t producing bombastic fruit-bombs. We have class, style and terroir expressive juice.

  • Do you think it went something like this?

Gary: would love to see a true “blind” tasting — blindfolded.

  • Allan

    Mott!!!

Please remove Lucyfuer’s comments, because i don’t know what the h*** she’s on about. True we were friends on Facebook, but i never ever hacked her account. And Lucy, what do you mean, insulting????? You must be mistaking me for someone else.?

  • We are on the same page. I like trappist and all double and tripple fermeted ales. Flavour heaven indeed. I’m just pulling your beard or are you so young that haven’t sprouted yet πŸ™‚ Bottoms up.

QOTD: I’m still looking for the apple show. Cider, pommeau, calvados. We’ve done beer, we’ve done sake. Let’s have some apples.

  • did garry vee give up the wine show b4 he reached a thousand shows he was so close

QOTD: I’d like to see you go Vin de Pays against AOC. I heard someone recently talking about how much better AOC wines are. That certainly was probably the case several decades ago but a lot of Vin de Pays producers are bringing serious thunder now, often better than their AOC counterparts and at FAR greater value. Would love to hear your thoughts on this…

QOTD: Please do some more VERSUS episodes within California tho – maybe Napa v. Sonoma North Coast v. Monterey and Santa Barbara v. Edna Valley

Let’s keep it Domestic for the week before Election Day… Please but mostly thanks!

  • GV where are you? We are worried!!

  • sideout

I’m always up for a Wa ep. Not sure where the idea of WA being underrated ect. comes from. Certainly not so for anyone who watches this show. GV has been talking WA since the start and has done many eps on it. Some classics are the K-vintners, the cayuse one, cougar crest. I remember going to several lws after the cayuse ep and asking for walla walla wines and no one knowing where it was. Underrepresented? Have you tried to get any Cayuse, Pepper Bridge, Leonetti, K vintners? The word is out!

QOTD: Would love to hear what you think of TamΓ‘s Estates Double Decker Red wine?

I would like you to check out and review Canadian wines from BC.. what does does Gary Vay think of this stuff??

  • Workaholica

    What is going on?

Guess he didn’t like any of our ideas.

  • Brad from canada

Gary Vee what’s up brother, everybody is worried that our favorite show is slipping away…Bring back the thunder brother we miss you…take the camera on the road and do some bloopers…when you going to review the Canadian Wine i smuggled to you in toronto?
I’m moving this week so i can’t catch the Sat show, but i’m going to call in next week and bust your balls. Hope all is well!

  • Brad from Canada

Canada sucks when it comes to our controling governmental bodies…I was just in Florida and you can get the most interesting wines at such low prices…we’ll have to start a wine smuggling business in Canada…Oh Canada..

Don’t worry, the reason is simple: He doesn’t want to reach Episode #1,000 before 2020 :O)

  • Matt from Canada

Been watching your show for about a year now, and love it. I’m from Canada (British Columbia) and I rarely have access to any wines you taste on your show. I would like the following: (1) taste some BC wines once in a while, I think you would be very impressed (please consider that our taxes put our wines in a higher price bracket) (2) find wines that are also available in Canada (the Canadian wine magazine ‘Wine Access’ would showcase several examples).

He actually did a cider show a long time ago:

The past few weeks of shows have been great. But if we’re looking at yet another full week absence without any warning or explanation, that’s pretty bad. People will *understand* if you need to take a week off for business or a breather, but you’ve gotta throw up a two-minute clip on Monday saying so.

  • NY Pete

whatever happened to the thunder show?????????

  • thunderball

Check back in the archives….he’s done some B.C. wines! πŸ™‚

  • Let’s see some Halloween wines! C’mon Gary, this is one of the best week/ends of the year.

  • john fasc

QOTD – i agree. since the vineyards look like they’re straight out of a horror movie, how about another all priorat tasting?

  • Anonymous

Love how you’re always talking about the future, Gary. You’re turning into Doc Brown.

QOTD: I’d love to see a Chinon episode. You’ve been talking a lot lately how it used to be such an expensive wine back in the day, so would love to see one on that. Last one in your archive is August, 2009. Time to bring it back, baby!!!

Love the Laid back couch. A little late, but it would, as always, be fun to see you deal with 3-4 wines double blind. From where, what grapes, what price… fun no?

  • Anonymous

    Good episode.

QOTD – Just keep doing what you do.

  • Anonymous

My weather prognosis was right. πŸ™‚

  • Dcaragher

GV – Thank goodness the couch finally made its reappearance!

QOTD: Sweet wines from around the world!

  • Anonymous

QOTD: I’d like see you focus on South American Merlot. I’m not a big fan of the varietal outside of bordeaux blends, but I had a Chilean Merlot from a recent vintage that was unlike any Merlot I remember drinking. Would love to hear your 2 cents on the topic!

  • just had this particular prosecco at a tasting this afternoon…when the rep said that it was the only screw cap prosecco in the U.S., I knew it must be this one.
Fresh light crisp and a clean spring water finish that seems to disappear but leaves a distinct mineral trail after a minute or so…what a deal for the price!
    Salut!
