Going back to the “Way Back” machine here,,, but opened the Clonakilla tonight and had to go back and “taste” with you… I got #1,2,4 of the episode a year ago and just getting to the Clonakilla tonight,,, You are right on on the bottles I got. This is such a great resource.

That blend sounds quite nice. Another wine I have to run to the wine shop to get. Although I think Im going to get a wine from Alsace first, because Ive never tried one. Nice job making your palate happy on this episode after the disaster of the last one. QOTD: Im so new to wine I wouldnt know where to begin. Though since I enjoy being laughed at…. Cab Franc and semillion?

Qotd: Now that's an interesting qotd! I know viognier was covered as a blender in this episode, but I'd be curious to see how viognier would blend with petite verdot or petite sirah. I know Virginia has some good viognier's and especially petite verdot's going on. Or maybe petite verdot with torrontes? Or charbono with viognier? Man you got me thinking now Gary.

I just had Small Gully Mr. Black's Concoction a couple weeks ago, hedonistic but definitely delicious.
