As a serious wine collector and one who enjoys sharing a bottle (or several with family and friends)I really liked the shows with Maynard!! My youngest daughter is a huge “Tool” fan and first told me about the wines. So for her 21st birthday I presented her with a few bottles of Caduceus! I admit I was unaware of their existence until this revelation! She also sent me to the website so I could view the shows as I’ve not seen them before. Thanks for the enjoyable episodes and I am sure I will be striving to purchase several of the wines..and not only for my daughter, but for myself as well!!! I would like to make one note: The glasses you used tasting the wines appeared to be Riedel Sommelier Pinot Noirs. I strongly suggest you use the proper glasses for the wines you taste! It truly makes a difference!!! And if you do not believe me, I will accept a challenge!!!! Cheers! (and I’m not a salesperson…….just a wine snob!!!) 🙂

The interviewer SUCKS. He is a spazz and interupts entirely too much. GET RID OF HIM!

@ ASHLEY, you seem to be unfamiliar with the format of the show. The unedited nature of it means no topic can be dwelled upon for too long or the program would run on for hours. I am curious as to what encouraged you to watch the episode, and what were you expecting from it.

    Really? 666 plantings?

Poor Gary. He's semi-intelligent, but he's a salesperson doing his slime marketing talk. I can't stand these types of people, but you know what? They know how to make the money.

MJK and Eric, please speak louder!

Just saw Maynard and Eric's movie on wine making in Arizona – 'Blood Into Wine'. If you enjoyed these WLTV episodes, you would definitely like the movie. It's an interesting mix of comedy and serious info on the difficulties of starting a vineyard in a place where there are no precedents for how to go about it. Check out http://www.bloodintowine.com if you want to find out when and where it's showing. Or, I'm assuming it will be available on DVD later in the year.

Great to see wines on from Arizona

Curious to see a few years later if Arizona wines have held their own in this economy.. http://www.winelx.com

  • I’m a HUGE Tool and Perfect Circle fan for many years now, Tool being one of my favorite rock bands of all time, but after watching these episodes, I’m of the same impression that Maynard came off arrogant. It wasn’t that he was quiet, and more evident in the first episode.
