    Nice question, tough to answer, I guess I would go with a red Burgundy village (ok its because I love burgundy I had to identify myself to it), not quite a 1er or grand cru, at least not yet but interesting with a mix old world terroir and young fruit but mostly adaptable to any meal or occasion.
