My Question — when is winelibrary going to ship to Michigan? Its the best wine retailer on the web and I know a dozen people that would hit the secret pack immediately. Noticed that there are other large NJ-based retail websites that ship to Michigan.

I have a great day job which I love and pays the bills (very well), but my true passion is for the startups I work on at night. You’ve said before something to the effect of “don’t watch f*cking Lost and pound it out til 2am,” but the problem is that I also have a fiancee (whom I also love) who needs her share of my time as well. Do you have any advice for how you’ve dealt with that kind of situation with your wife?

And also, why can’t my apartment office sign for Wine Library packages?!? Do you know how many days I’ve come in late for work waiting on FedEx to deliver my wine?

I really enjoyed this show, Gary. Look to the Oct. 15, 2008 issue of Wine Spectator: Values for an article featuring Gigondas that highlights Louis Barruol and his wine “Little James’ Basket Press. I like this wine a lot, but agree that it finishes quickly. I am excited to try the Gewurztraminer and will have the perfect opportunity at my wine tasting group this week- themed Alsace!

Gary, I had an epiphany today…. you know when you have just one drop of red wine left in the glass (especially cab and pinot) and you let it sit there for 10 min or so… the smell… I finally figured out what it smells like… take new black trash bag out of the box… unfold it … stick your nose in it.. and there’s the smell…
