Always love these on location episodes although could’ve done with Mott at the beginning when the light wasn’t right, GV looked like he was in a shadow.

Hey whatΒ΄s up? whereΒ΄s the thunder?

  • Anonymous

OK, It’s Monday and it has been thundering here all night, but not the kind of “THUNDER” I want! VAY-NER-CHUK, I NEED A FIX AND YOU’RE THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN BRING IT! πŸ˜‰

  • Congrats Man on the Five year. Only been watchin since late 07, but i feels like i’ve been around the whole time.

    Cheers!!

  • Adam Eggert

Happy anniversary, Gary. Glad the show is still going strong.

QOTD: Have to say my favorite moment was watching Jennifer Simonetti-Bryan teach you how to use the Champagne Saber. (As an aside to that episode, she has a course on wine that she recorded for The Teaching Company: http://www.teach12.com/tgc/courses/course_detail.aspx?cid=9123)

Good luck on the next 5 years!

Do all these guys work at The Wine Library? They all have WLTV tees on! Can I get a job there VAY-NER-CHUK! And these guys are packaging your wine! πŸ˜›

  • ALLAN

    IIIIIIIII, oh forget it πŸ™‚

  • congrats from Virginia Tech on the fifth anniversary!

  • more like non-packing πŸ™‚

  • I’m an old tiresome man and don’t ask for much, and understand that the hustle is about the new book and the wife and daughter comes before almost everything, and that Winelib need a looking after, and having at firm with younger brother also take some time, and lecturing and advise fortune 500 companies takes time, and keeping all that schedule’s and answering hundreds of emails and tweets all day is really a lot for one man to do. I understand that, all of it, since I’m an old man tired of the rat race keeping three jobs right know and doing something small on the side and trying to finish two books before September. I get it, no stress….but a show , please?

  • ALLAN

    So where’s the fireworks ?

  • ALLAN

    I agree, on the old-part πŸ˜‰

    just joshing you man.

  • thunder show withdrawal, garyvee, give us something on terroir…

  • Christopher Dickens

He’s been tweetless for six hours on a Monday, perhaps that’s a clue he’s recording some new WLTVs…

  • aha, ay there’s the rub πŸ™‚

Hey Mott you should do your own show and post it without telling GV I would love to see his reaction when he found out

  • Charlotte K. Jensen

    well said.

    That would be EPIC!

Do you travel with your spit bucket?? Dedication or one of those “Star” requests that someone had to rush out and get = )

  • NY Pete

    ok … it’s monday …

    what is going on?

  • You need to start a college tour Gary. The future of wine enthusiasts and the wine world are young college kids and you have a lot of untapped potential vayniacs out there, especially at Virginia Tech. I’m sure parents would prefer there kids to sip and discuss nice wine then excessively drink cheap liquor and beer. Why not come to VT and “Give it a whirl?”

stay calm everyone – I am sure that Gary is planning a big surprise just to satisfy each and everyone of your needs and request – SIMULTANEOUSLY!!!!! – That will be the grand plan for episode 1000 πŸ˜‰ These things take time and planning!

  • DaveAll

chuckle – at this pace, we’ll have episode 1000 by Thanksgiving, no problem. hahahaha.

QOTD: Secret pack #4 Tasting. 2006 Chateau Dereszla Dry Tokaji. Tasting with two friends and my future wife. We were learning something new and for once, not drinking beer (no that there is anything wrong with beer). I got the limes on the nose, and I have been sniffy sniffing ever since. Happy 5th Gary. P.S. this is what happened at the end of the night: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=62324&id=752839765#!/photo.php?fbid=41042964765&set=a.41037974765.62324.752839765&theater

  • Great show, love the robots . . . got the Gary V pack, too . . . now, when are you going to taste the wines so we can “play along” at home?

  • Tony Tombstone

    Gary,

congrats to you. I am a bit of a lurker as I watch from my ipod when I am traveling. been a fan for a year or so. Congrats again.

Congratulations on 5 years Gary. I think the WLTV episode that made the greatest impression on me was the first time I watched, close to 4 years ago. Tasting and describing wine, the whole experience, started becoming much more natural and real for me. Thanks- I appreciate what you are doing. Come visit us at Cork in the West Village, Dallas!

  • Great episode Gary. Congrats on 5 years. Been here for almost 4 of them. Gotta say i loved everything but the best part was when Mr. Perfects theme song was blaring through your phone. ABSOLUTLY PERFECT!

  • Anonymous

GV – congrats on the 5 years of WLTV! Hard to believe that much time has passed, it had been a great ride. Looking forward to #1000 and more to come after that! This has been a good run for the past 50 shows or so…

QOTD – Probably the comment that some wine had more wood than a 9th grade gym class (or something like that). Otherwise, too many highlights to mention!

  • Gary. This is why we love you. Congratulations.

QoTD: Any time that you and your dad are on together.

ha ha “aromatically challenged: AC” love it! I’m gonna use that one! πŸ™‚ Happy 5 year anniversary Gary!
