Loved the show.. Everytime you have a blind tasting you think someone is going to slip in a curveball but I’ve never seen one. Somebody please throw a curve once in a while.

    Blind in ‘09!

Great show Gary—the “blind” episodes really make it amazing and shows just how much you truly know your stuff!

Do more blind, but not all blind. Its fun, it makes good vid entrainment…
I just don’t buy that it gets a ‘true’ prepective on wine. Someone still choices the wine there still is basis– its hiden removed by an step. What I try do and what feel this I like about this show help me with and experience is an understand of my own basis and how reflects my own palate and my own limitations.
    Thanks

Love the blind format…it’s the real deal but don’t go 100% with it. Once a week or two would be good. All this Napa talk is getting me very excited. My daughter and I will be there for Thanksgiving and a few days after. Can’t wait to see your picks to rock our experience. You’re the best! A lurker no more….promise. Brian

QOTD: I’m a big fan of the blind tasting, and agree with some comments that a weekly blind day would be cool.

QOTD: I like the blind tasting, and maybe you could do more of them, but the I would miss all the back story you have on the wines and when you have wine makers on with their wines. So I am going to say no, but definitely more blind tasting.

I agree with some of the other comments. Don’t commit to blind-only. But definitely more blind shows in the future!

    Keep it up.

I like the blind tastings but not an everyday thing. I like your input don’t feel a blind tasting allows you to give us the same input.

Gary – go blind!! More fun for us, and I think it helps you, too, without those preconceived notions.

I am for the Blind Monday, Laid Back Friday format; though I could stand the blind once or twice a month. I like the information on the region, grape, vintner etc. Not enough time with the blind tasting.
