Have fallen in love with your show over the last 6 months after finding it while checking out wines on the net. sake is something that really interests me, I have been to japan twice and love the culture. Its good to see episodes on all sorts of drinks and ways to drink. The world needs to be educated and I think your doing a great job. Wish my teachers in school made topics as interesting as you do, i suppose that your talking about booze helps. Seriously, keep up the good work!

Interesting episode with the little camera. It’s a little unfocused on the wine, though. I was much more interested in what was going on in the background. Anyway…

Qotd:I thought finishing my awesome PhD and coming back home to my girl-friend. Instead, we’re heading for a crisis… :-(

I love old wines, especially Burgundies. Yeah, I agree that 15 years old is not very old, but like you said, when you consider that the vintage was largely panned, it is pretty impressive.

QOTD: I think I will try to stimulate the economy some more.

Another fun little on the fly episode. I quite enjoy these and wouldnt mind seeing more of them in the future. Fun guest too. Good tight little show. Speaking on that wine being a baby, it just made me fear some of the wines that I need to cellar for 10-20 years… God I hope I pop them at the right time….. always a crapshoot. QOTD: Take greater chances in love and hope to find my lady fair.

I bid on this wine in the Acker auction and lost. Guess I see who I lost to. Great wine and what a great get to have someone bring a wine like this to taste out of the blue. Congrats. Hope to just make it through the year.

Great comments all around, I’m very humbled. It was a lot of fun, despite being completely surprised by this after a 13 hour day.

I opened another ‘92 Leroy Pommard when I got home so my friends could drink along as they watched. It was also very good, Leroy is so consistent.

Gary, I will shoot you an email pronto. Let’s definitely keep in touch. Thanks again for everything.

    Best Regards,
    Alex

It was so cool hanging out and drinking some wine with you guys in San Francisco. I was really blown away by the burgundies Alex brought out. This was a very special experience. For a wine newbie like me, to be introduced to great wine like this was really eye opening.

QOTD: I’m going to learn more about wines, spend time with my family and our new dog.

Wow, that was an excellent video. Do I have any interest in wine? No, not at the present. I’m in Thailand where their idea of a good wine is called Beer Leo.

Gary, you’re amazing. Nice motivational video. I’ll feature your site on my Aim for Awesome blog here shortly (within 2 weeks as I get it written up). Thanks for the experience! Best of life!
