I like Pomerol’s, wish I could afford to drink more. QOTD: I only have time for Celebrity Apprentice, which is likely the next Idol may end up on someday.

Mr. Vaynerchuck!!!! You are a cool guy for sure. Good to see someone who has the intellectual latitude to appreciate fine wine and food, as well as the dynamic world of sports. You are indeed a valued member of our generation (I’m 28 so we are close in age). I am interested when your next show on Syrah, Petite Syrah, and maybe Shiraz will be. I am a Pinot drinker because I like the nuance and the relatively sophisticated pallet compared to most American Cabernet’s. I am now ready to learn more about Syrah and Shiraz from a value proposition point of view. I don’t get to watch your show everyday so if you could e-mail me back an answer (either to my inquiry or with a date for a show that will cover these topics, or both) that would be great! Keep up the good work buddy, you are doing good things for this generation.

    Best Regards,

    Michael R. Millett

    Cellaring in apartment?

Gary, I would love to see a little show on what you recommend when cellaring in an apartment. I am in a small apartment but I have some wines that I want to store for some time (2 – 5 years). Can I do this with wine cooler/fridge? If so, what are some considerations when purchasing a cooler/fridge?

    Thanks for your time

1 – Never had it, but I’ll be on the look out for it in the future.

2 – Don’t care. I’ve been busy watching Lost, 30 Rock, Flight of the Conchords, and of course WLTV episodes.

    Kodi

QOTD1 – Not sure if I have had a Pomerol
QOTD2 – Jack Bauer.. okay seriously Lil or Danny

    Great show…

QOTD 1. Never had a Pomerol

QOTD 2. Come on Gary…if you ask questions like this and people respond…how are we ever going to get these garbage shows off television…

PS. if you ask who is going to win “Dancing with the stars”…you have officially lost the thunder…lol

I’ve never had a Pomerol, but that is next on my list to locate and try. I would love to see what is in your cellar. Here is an episode idea: health benefits on red wine..maybe find a physician or nurse to be a guest on your show. Oh, and Adam will be the next American Idol, no contest there.

  11. March 14, 2009

    Doug from New Orleans

    Keep it up! Thanks

    QOTD#1 Haven’t had one

    Qotd#2 Adam Lambert

Try any Bordeaux < generally< at first and then later if You can.

I bet the 2001 shows a little more stuff in 1 hour.

maybe not but it happens often enough to me.

2003 should be good and not last as long as a lot of the other vintages of Gazin (hot freaking year, 40 000 died from heat in frnace remember)

QOTD 1 because of rampant speculation and label shoppers, Pomerol is overpriced ususally

Qotd WTF it’s a TV show about Operatic POP singers?

  13. March 14, 2009

    Bigapablo

    QOTD: never had Pomerol.
QOTD: I think Adam Lambert will win but Danny Gokey should win.

I wish I knew more about Pomerol, but I don’t. I don’t follow Idol. But I did enjoy the show and want to learn more about Pomerol.

  17. March 14, 2009

    Dr. Mike

QOTD: Pomerol is my favoite region right now. LaFleur is where it’s at.

QOTD: I don’t have TV so I don’t watch AI.

  18. March 13, 2009

    David Dadekian

QOTD 1: I don’t really have any thoughts on the region. I suppose I need to try more.

QOTD 2: I honestly could not care less about American Idol.

  19. March 13, 2009

    WineWoman

QOTD: Being in music, I’m probably more qualified to answer the American Idol question than Pomerol. Prices will probably stay the same, maybe come down a bit(if we’re lucky)Nothing new and dramatic, will stick to traditional, old-world wine-making and family-owned from generation to generation.

Adam already is branded, so he’ll probably win.

P.S to Scott. Prunes come from the European blue plum. I dont think you would dry a Japanese plum, or a Greengage……….

qotd: I think i want to go there.
qotd: I dont watch so this is a guess …

Garys Question of the Day: Do I really have to get a myface?. Im 25, i never owned a cell phone, i dont have any of those facespace pages, i only own a computer so i can have a digital camera and an Ipod, and to watch you of course! do i really have to have one?
