Based on your recomendation Gary. My wife and I tried a Penfold’s Koonunga Shiraz 2003 and really liked it. We tried a Penfold’s Bin 128 Shiraz 2002. We liked this too but we liked the Koonunga 2003 better.

There was a lengthy take from the book in the NY Times Magazine 2 weeks or so. A real good read.

Don’t drink to much Shiraz. the last one I had was the 2 Up you sugested by WLTV it was good.

Best Shiraz so far…it is hard to separate the ’01 and ’02 Elderton Command. I love both but feel that the ’01 is more ready to drink of course. I like both better than any Penfolds Grange I have tasted (’99, ’00, ’01) but that is just me. And the price might have something to do with it too ;).
