Excellent show, I actually watched it from start to finish. Nice diverse group of wines. QOD: Of course we like you Gary! Who else could get away with referencing Strawberry Shortcake and the Gummy Bears theme song and still make it seem cool.

My last attempt was two cases during a free shipping offer, and it was as mediocre as my own attempts at the wine store – – I just don’t know if I can pick ’em. Gambling doesn’t seem to pay off with wine.

Happy bicentennial. So much to like …

–fresh Noblaie! I bought the ’03, loved it, bought some more, but while I loved it it struck me as awfully ripe for a Chinon (although the smoky chocolate comes out with a vengeance on the second night). Glad it wasn’t just me.

–If I had a WLTV Bingo Card, I’d be able to stick a marker on the Grignolino spot and I swear I’d be halfway to blackout by now.

–Can’t wait to see your $100 case challenge. Just about succeeded in pulling it off last year, not a turkey in the bunch.
