    Wow, this episode makes me want to sell my ipod (i.e., my life) and buy some Bordeaux with the money!
    It’s sad but I’m not drinking any wine tonight… I am still in the stage that I would feel guilty to pop a bottle of wine for me alone.

    Gary, why don’t you open some other WL stores around the States? In particular, why not one near Toledo, Ohio? I would live in your store if it was near here!

    Nice episode Gary.

    Tonight was a 2006 St Supery Napa Valley Oak Free Chardonnay. Has a great nose and some exotic fruit, but not blown away by it.

    My fav ep is the train your palate episode.
    I absolutely love it and it is sooooooo…
    funny. I couldn’t even talk about pepper for weeks after without
    laughing!!! Gary – getting white pepper in his eye – no better
    entertainment out there anywhere!

    So, I’m a quasi lurker…I keep my ears open while my husband (stevo) is watching. I really appreciate all you’ve taught him…we now have to stop in every wine store we come across and he feels it’s necessary to swish and slurp every sip of wine he takes.

    In all honesty, though, it is great to have found someone making wine fun. I feel like a lot of the info out there is a little too stuffy for a couple of 20-somethings looking to get into it. So, thanks!

    Sharing time… I have some associates that have been into wine for 25+ years and they can get pretty uppity at times. I’m only 29 and sometimes when they are talking about wine I just have one of those mental flashbacks that you see on TV (you know, like it was filmed through panty hose and water) and I think about Gary saying “It’s just wine people!”. It makes me smile…
