Coming out of lurker status… I’m a HUGE X-men fan, so this is tough. I’ve been battling between Nightcrawler and Wolverine, but I’ve got to go with my man Wolverine. Gary, love the show, you make finding new wine enjoyable. Keep it up.

What a fun episode! You always break us into different varietals, and that’s a lot of fun. I commend you for your incredible effort of leaving so many episodes recorded for us. This is completely off topic, but when the hell are you going to do a Southern Rhone Episode? Most notably CDP. I think Southern Rhone has some of the most interesting wines at reasonable costs.

Spiderman, however I did not like any of the movies 🙁 I also really like Dr. Doom but he was not a hero, haha. I mixed it up this last weekend I served a Austrian wine and a wine from Sicily :-).

Favorite superhero has to be Supes himself, the Big S. Even though he’s probably the most boring, he would be the most fun to have his powers. Can’t wait for Superman 3: Superman vs. The Oak Monster! Because you, and a little bit of stuff that has nothing to do with wine, and me, … we’re changing the wine (and other stuff) worlds, aren’t we?

I used to read Defenders comic books. Remember the 100th issue–Hell on Earth. Hard to believe, but the Defenders did save the world. And kudos to those of you who voted for Buffy. My wife got me hooked on the series. What, is there a problem with that? We drank riuniti on ice and cheered wildly when our hip vamp fighter permanently closed down the hell mouth. (maybe i’m just drawn to fights with hell.)

a mild mannered humble and lovable shoeshine boy who ducks into telephone booths (okay a bit dated) destroys it when he emerges caped and ready to take action (with a little pill assist)and destroy those nasty villians (with a tad collateral damage) while defending Sweet Polly Purebred, voiced by Wally Cox, speaks in rhyme and is a DOG to boot????
