Just drinking a Kanonkop »Paul Sauer« 2002. Great Stuff. Very similar to good Bordeaux but lower prices. Very Old World. 24 Month in new oaks but not an Oakmonster. In Germany: 30 Euro. Thumbs up!

Gary, I’m seeing more of your hand then the label when you hold up the bottles on this episode! Love rieslings, I’ve never understood why they’re not more popular.

I’m just starting to get into rieslings and greatly appreciated this episode. A couple of months ago I paired a nice Canadian riesling (Hawthorne Mountain) with fresh fennel and apple salad — the wine was like an extension of the salad. Amazing!

QOTD: The plan?! Well the plan is to figure out how to order one of those t-shirts. Am I internet-deficient? Oh yeah. But when I go to the “order now” button in the little t-shirt area, nothing happens when I click it. Can someone help me out? And bear in mind I already feel stupid enough 🙂
