Great to see this heat episode……A question… It is always stated to drink reds at room temperature….what is really room temperature….in Malaysia the room temperature is pretty high…78F-80F. So how do I keep the wine in good condition not for a long duration but maybe for 1 month or 2.

Hilarious delivery. Enjoyed this show. Would like to see the heated wine cooled back to RTP and sampled the following day to see if it still stayed good. Would also like to see an episode where the wine gets seriously cold, even partially frozen, then re-warmed to RTP. Perhaps you do that somewhere in episodes 275-675. I will continue with the archives to find out.

Have not tried this wine yet, like Super Tuscans. It seemed like you forgot to take your ADD pills in the middle of the show.. http://www.winelx.com

Going off of your statement of how wines are best opened right away if they have possible heat damage, maybe have a show where you heat damage a wine, then open it up a week later.

  • I live in a warm climate (Sao Paulo, Brasil) and am always worried about spoiling my wines in transit from store to home. This episode got me wondering if it is not better to just fill a cooler with ice and put the bottles in if i am not coming directly home from the wine store. The episode clearly shows the long term damage heat can do, but can a wine fully recover from a few hours in an ice filled cooler??
