GV- That was some serious energy at the end. Couldnt agree with you more. Only in the last year have I found myself searching out anything I HAVENT had before and ignoring Pinot, Cabs, Chard, S. blanc for the most part as that is what I have lived on for a couple years. QOTD: I wont let you down.

i really enjoyed this episode and it’s definitly time to thank Gary for his daily hard work. Guess many people don’t have a clue what it means to be live on air with a daily authentic show and serious wine-tastings while having a job to do, that easily fills you up with 14 hours working. Wow, all of the sudden Gary turned into the guy that used to (or maybe he still does) sell sports memorabilia on late night cable TV. The first two Chilean wines sound pretty good GV but I was very glad to hear you sort of calling out Chile on its undeserved rep. What else…oh yeah, I was also very glad to hear that Cork’d is going to improve. I use it and it’s OK for me but I’m a newbie and I never have more than like 40 bottles at one time but even I can tell it would be severely lacking for someone with an extensive cellar. Can’t wait to see the improvements. Finally, 365 bottles in 365 days? My wife doesn’t particularly like wine so I guess I’ll have to start drinking for two now.

A lurker since #122, but I just have to give GV props for the intensity. The only way to taste 365 wines in a year is off-lines. I’m a bit surprised that WL hasn’t realized the value add they could bring by taking a more proactive role in facilitating such events in the NY/NJ region. Sooner or later they’ll come around.
