    back to watchin’ the shows again, mr v. this is a wonderful one to come back to. i like the educational shows. as much as finding out an obscure wine tastes like chocolate-covered wombat in a blue-stone sandwich, this stuff is always the most applicable to my wine experiences. good knowledge to acquire.

  • The only Chards I’ve been able to drink have been unoaked or barely oaked. I’m with you, GV; I can’t stand the Oak Monster.

    QOTD: 75% without, 25% with. And when it’s with, it’s probably fast food. lol

    Good episode. I enjoyed the educational parts of this episode alot.

    I looked up “stad”, it means city in like German or something.

    I really enjoy the nose on wines. A couple wines I have run into in my first few weeks of trying wines I could have sat and sniffed the glass all day.

    FINALLY, another “grapenuts” lover! YEAH!

    Gary, I know that you have done port, and icewine, and others, but you have to admit that you have done a lot of varietal/styles more than once, and it’s okay to do it again. Another year brings all different flavors!
