Come on Gary, I don’t know if Mark Lemke even hit .250. He was more of a defensive 2nd baseman. Had some good postseasons though.

QOTD: I’m gonna buck the heroes trend and hopefully hip you to Brother’s and Sisters on sunday nights. It’s a great show and it’s one that I have had no problems watching the rerun’s at all because it brings that much thunder

QOTD: How do you have time to watch TV? I know I sure as hell don’t. But if I did, I’d be sure to catch every episode of Bill Moyer’s Journal on PBS, The Daily Show, and maybe the new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

QOTD: Top Chef finale. It’ll be better if you have been keeping up with the show and know the contestants, but I’ve really gotten sucked-in by this season. And I GUARANTEE you that it is the ONLY reality show that I watch… the rest are crap.

Great Episode. Sequoia has always been a favorite. I am not surprised that the Merryvale did not wow you. They, along with Groth, Clos Pegase and Stags Leap have been under-delivering the last 5 years.

It’s good to see there IS some reasonably priced Napa Cab’s out there. I’ve avoided them quite a bit for a few reasons. Lack of knowledge about what’s what for one. Another reason would be I figured I could try many other varietals from other areas of the world for a much smaller dent in my wallet. This thursday I’m (hopefully) going to a Cali Cab tasting night at a place called Anderson’s in Toledo. They’re going to be pouring Caymus, Cakebread, Opus One, Raumbauer, Sliver Oak, and Stag’s Leap. Haven’t ever had any of these and am excited to see what the fuss is about good and bad.

QOTD: I watched Heroes last night 😀 I like house and office to but not nearly as much as heroes! Other than that… the tv is on only to play movies or ps2 😛

I was in Napa this summer with my fiancee and we visited St Clemente and tried the 2004 Oropas. Needless to say, we weren’t impressed. I couldn’t describe why at the time, I just knew I didn’t like it, especially at 40 bones. Glad I passed.

GV, have you ever tried a Hess Collection Chardonnay? Another place we visited in Napa and we were very impressed with the 2005.

QOTD: skip all the new, mind numbing crap and stick with the classics. Bizzarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, No Reservations with Anthony Bordain, and Survivorman with Les Stroud. All are Entertaining and Educational, or the “Double E” as I like to say. Just like another show I watch…

QOTD: I dunno what types of shows you like, but Heroes, the Office and Grey’s Anatomy are my faves

QOTD – tough to say what you should watch on TV being that I don’t watch too much TV which is ironic with over 100 channels to choose from on cable. BTW I thought ELLEN was clueless. She probably does not even watch WLTV.

Sequoia sounds interesting. 2 and half men cracks me up, and PBS’s War looks like it might be good. Watched The Lives of Others, best foreign film (with subtitles) and everybody should check that out, very relative for todays time.

What house, tonight on fox at nine. Best show on TV. I have to say, I love Napa cabs, and I love the fact that you rate and review so many accesable wines. You Rock.
