Charred on the outside, medium rare on the inside. A nice rub is a plus.

To be honest I don’t eat meat anymore although I very much miss a med-rare steak with a rosemary dusting and mushrooms. It’s okay though because wine is veg and that’s the best part

  • CollegeFootballisNumberOne

Bone-In NY Strip, Med Rare. And GV, take it easy with my 6L!

QOTD: gotta be bone-in ribeye, rare, lightly salted, blood red juicy-juice-juice through & through, paired (of course) w/ an aussie shiraz (or, if i’m feeling funky, a shiraz-viognier combo).

and yes, i AM here for the silver oak, but no, i’m not coming out of the woodworks just for it: i discovered wltv just ONE week ago (i know, i know, what sand dune have i had my head shoved into?), i’m on episode 51 & desperately trying to catch up.

Totally caught off guard with the late harvest – steak pairing. Gonna try that.

Steak’s gotta be medium to medium rare for me.

I like my steak cooked on the bone and aged with some kosher salt and cracked pepper. Nothing fancy, just good ole fashion steak.

  • QOTD: Steak…mmmmm…medium-rare (pinkish red, but still warm), seasoned with pepper and salt.

The D’arenberg sounds like a great wine. Something I will most definitely try with some steak.
