In 2008 I see many more shows being taped at Wine Library West; the new location you’ll be opening in Washington State (c’mon, you know you want to)!

Seriously, I think the show’s popularity will keep building and word will just keep spreading. Maybe you can arrange for all the Vayniacs out there to buy the same champagne and and sip a toast at exactly the same moment worldwide. Is there a record for the world’s largest “toast”?

I predict a Mot vs. Gary battle. It’ll happen one day after Mot gets beaned by a stray cork at the end of an episode. It will be a glorious battle.

I predict that the Vaynernation will reach critical mass, break-away from the rest of the world and form our own nation. You will be our very own Castro. Do you like Cigars?

GV – Thanks for this show – after a long Xmas day. QOTD – 2008? TTS goes Global! Er, wait – that’s happened. TTS schools wine journalism! Aah yeah – that’s done. What’s left Senor V?

QOTD: “In the year 2008,” “WLTV” will become the most recognized acronym in the wine world, and will be synonymous with all that is new, old, unpretentious, classic, educational, cutting edge, exploratory, and downright enjoyable about vino to anyone and everyone who appreciates wine on any level for any amount of time…and the word “lurker” will be banished from the WL vocabulary as every viewer (which will be everyone who drinks wine in the world) will comment on every show…and Gary’s email inbox will be streamlined to cut out comments that belong here…and everyone will still enjoy Gary’s tasting notes and scored while completely disregarding his opinion in favor of their own palate.

08 will bring more national exposure for GV. NBC’s Today Show will certainly have him as a guest. There will be more calls from the Food Network trying to work out a show. We still will be unable to have WLTV ship to Minnesota.

08 prediciton: GV and Parker will meet in a no holds bard WLTV throwdown reminicent of old schoold WWF, we’re talkin’ Rowdy Piper and Randy “Macho Man” Savage. They threw down, right?

I predict that Gary will be the proud father of a beautiful baby girl Vayniac!!! I say…once we find out that Lizzy is pregnant we do a Champagne pack with free shipping!!!

QOTD: 2008? You need to get involved in a restaurant. I think with your knowledge of food, wine, cheese, service, etc., it would be a no brainer. Maybe just as a consultant though, as your present time is very limited…

I predict in 2008 more on-location episodes, out in the fields and in wineries, and a continuing level of stimulation for the viewers.

Superb show, as usual. I really enjoyed you taking off on the Clio. Nice! Actually, I was surprised that four of the five wines showed so well for you.

QOTD: My prediction for WLTV in 2008 is that Lizzie will finally make an appearance on the Thunder Show!

QOTD (Take 2): By the way, I have noticed that when you’re on a roll like you have been lately, WLTV end up being around 20-25 minutes in length. This means that, with appropriate commercial breaks, it would fit perfectly into a 30 minute slot on, say, oh, I don’t know, perhaps the Food Network. So that’s my prediction – WLTV moves to the Food Network in 2008. 🙂

BTW, Episode #182 looks a little like the “Blair Witch Project”. 😉
