Wow, Gary V made it onto a left wing “Top 29” list.

Maybe some humility can save the show.

This guy focused on something that he does not agree with, but gave no credit at all for everything good Gary has brought to the wine world.

The show yesterday certainly seemed to be a bit of a response to it.

Simply put – don’t go! Hopefully this is just more of those “Jersey scare tactics” you’ve shown us before.

I wouldn’t have sampled a Greco di Tufo, Torrontes or Grower’s Champagne without the WLTV insights you’ve provided.

Take a vacation if you need it but don’t forget about the WLTV faithful! I feel like a zealot converting everyone I know with an interest in wine into faithful Vayniacs and WLTV viewers!

There are still so many guests who need to make an appearance there’s no way you can quit before you hit 1,000 shows…

Thanks for keeping us on our toes and becoming a part of our lives.

Man, some people in your fan base are down right nasty with the prospect of losing the show. Gary you don’t owe us anything (if anything it is the other way around), it is a free country and you can quit if you want to, that is what makes this country great.

However, WE owe YOU a huge thanks for doing the show without charging anyone a dime for it. The education about wine that all of us have gained was (and hopefully still will be) priceless. Through all of the thousands of comments you receive we rarely stop and say thanks for all that you are doing, so let me offer a huge THANKS!!!

Sounds like miguel is taking Gv and the thunder for granted. Bad moves holmes! GV doesnt have to do this show. even if it’s a ploy to get the lurkers out, dont take the thunder for granted!

My guess is that there is a very cool surprise in store for the true vayniacs.

Gary….must say even though it has only been about 5 or 6 months of solid viewing you have already changed my wine world. If you must go then that is what was meant to be, but I have the luxury that I have saved every episode of WLTV available to me from your site so I can view them over and over.

QOTD: We will always have wine and our own palates, but it is you who is truly what WLTV is all about. The energy, the exposure, the knowledge……that is what we enjoy.

OK: GeeVee, what can I do to help? I’ve been thinking of creating some theme music for your show … will that help? Maybe different folks can video themselves tasting three or four wines in your honor, in your stead, in your manner, and you can still offer one episode a week, with some favorites you want to tell us about. I would have thought that all the new purchases at the WL from new WLTV watchers would be enough to save the show. I have only watched for about 6 months now or so, but I am hooked and have made several orders from the store. I hope the show is just moving onto a bigger stage and not gone for good…

My 15-yr-old says that Iron Man can save the show. I think he may be right, since only Tony Stark has more money than a TV network and could therefore lure you back from a cable show…

Why does WLTV need saving? What’s wrong? I don’t get it. Look, Gary, you can save the show if you want, or not. It’s your choice. But since you asked our opinion, here goes.. SUCK IT UP. You sound like someone told you something and now you just want to end a good relationship for no reason. Don’t. There is no reason, especially philosophical, to end the show. Most people, I imagine, don’t buy the wines you rate. Theyâ??re here because they’re interested in wine, but can’t afford to drink every day. We watch mostly because of your energy and passion. That’s what keeps us coming back. Bottom line is this, if you leave, the wine world stays the same. We believe in your cause, and want the wine world to change too. So, SUCK IT UP and stay.
