re the QUESTION OF THE DAY I must say that the Bison grass vodka evokes fond memories of my time in Poland but that this week we have been going through a bottle of Belvedere, which they curiously did not have in the Polish supermarket Piotr and Pawel. That having been said, WTF would I drink vodka when I can pop 05 Bourdeaux for twenty bucks that could drive the buffalo to extinction?

YAY! Another 400 to go!!! Dude have you tried vanilla vodka? It’s delish. I also had a question for you, oh wise Vay guy: What’s the best wine to use for making Kir? I tried it in France once as an aperitif (I was told it was white wine and part creme de cassis) and loooved the taste. But nobody else seems to know what I’m talking about, so I’d like some professional advice 🙂

What a disappointment for the 400th show! Football and vodka? I would rather have watched a show on dirty gym towels and cat pee – oh wait, I enjoyed that one. I hope the next 400 will be as good as the previous 399, which were terrific.

Wow! 400! Congratulations GV. I love the WLTV show. I have spread the thunder to my family. Every month we have an open house Red Gravy dinner(Spaghetti sauce). We even send out postcards with the dates all listed. It is open to family and friends alike. We started it to keep our kids and their friends coming back once they got to that age of independence. Anyway, I have spread the thunder to them on multiple occaisions, all of them have watched you and “sniffy sniff” and “give it a whirl” are a part of our meal vocabulary now as we enjoy different wines with our dinner. If you are ever in the Chicago area drop me a line and if Red Gravy is on the calendar, you have a standing invitation. I’m looking forward to the next 400 episodes.
