QTOD: Smoking ribs to enjoy with my wife and her sister and husband in from out of town. Have a bottle of Seghesio Prati open and waiting at home. Also Monchhof Urziger Wurzgarten Spatlese Riesling chilled and some Shiner Bock beer cold. Can’t wait till they are done.

BTW – A wine guy that doesn’t know about Folex? It never met a red stain it can’t defeat. A few years back I was having some red wine with a girlfriend. Her dog knocked over a freshly opened bottle of red which spilled all over a white fabric recliner and the carpet. Instead of getting Po’d at the dog she pulled out the spray bottle of Folex and goodbye stain. Completely erased it. Mott, I just saved your Butt.

QOTD: Sharing a 15 year old California Cab with some friends, then we’re all going to see my favorite guitarist play some fine tunes.

QOTD: Grilling some beef tenderloins and sharing a bottle of 2003 Llano Estacado Viviano Super Tuscan.

I have several bottles of the Isosceles, tho’ I haven’t opened any yet. I do hope some of the other vintages are not so OTT. I guess I could just use them as gifts.
QOD: Fixing smoked drunken chicken on the grill, playing classic rock out on the deck, (“I’m all shook up” will be included due to the earthquake we experienced this morning) and of course, enjoying some wine with the fam.
