    QOTD: Please, please, oh hockey gods, watching Dallas consign the Mighty Ducks to the golf course. Especially after the disgusting results in 4 of 5 games last night.

    Also racking the Mike Weir Cab Merlot and a J-T Reserve Merlot I sprung for this aft, for a try on my birthday next year (J-T) or 2010 (MW). And finishing off a rather thin Tollo Terre de Chieta with some culinary leftovers.

    Went to a local wine shop for a tasting… then out to dinner at a new restaurant in town. Good wine and food, can’t think of a better way to spend an evening!

    I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU SPIT THE JUSTIN AT $52!

    You can get the red wine out of your carpet and I bet your mom knows how – “Wine Out” by Gonzo. I get it online because of the price/size. It’s the secret of drycleaners.

    Great show as usual. Have not tried the isosceles. Probably won’t at that price. Did enjoy some Cline Cashmere earlier in the week. A decent GSM for 16 bones.

    QOTD: Checked out a local Charlotte wine bar tonight and enjoyed a glass of
    2000 Barbera d’Alba.

    I turned on this episode while I was drinking Justin Reserve CAB. Great stuff. I belong to the Justin wine club and the May shipment will have 2 bottles of the Isosceles. Can’t wait to try it.

    I am going out to the club with some friends from back in high school, should be a blast. Kind of sad that I won’t be drinking any vino tonight.

    On another note, was out the other night at a restaurant, and saw Gewurztraminer on the wine list and decided to “try something new, and expand my palette.” Very glad I did. Not sure exactly which winery it was (although it was definitely from British Columbia) but it was pretty delicious.

So I just poured wine for a bunch of people drinking expensive wine and thinking that it makes them look smart in front of their friends to say things like “that new vintage of Silver Oak sure is Super” AHHHHHHH! whatever more good wine for me

    Justin just released the ’05. They always release their wines a little before they are ready. I’ll bet if you revisit it in 8 months, you’ll love it more.
