How about Piemonte … pasta with white truffles, Barbera, Barbaresco, Barolo and a little Braccheto d’acqui to cap the night.

QOTD: Ultimately, it would have to be Italy. But, for the near future and closer to home – Washington state. I’m headed there this summer to visit my brother and hoping to have lots of good wine.

QOTD: France without a doubt because along with Italy they are the only countries where wine is an essential part of their heritage and tradition. I would love to see with my own eyes where it is that the different wines come from and the differences between them. Not to mention the cuisine would be out of this world.

Really bummed that I missed the secret pack. Honestly, you need to promote it more. I’m way behind on episodes thanks to a vacation and a new baby at home but I didn’t even know that a secret pack was coming.

GV – Good stuff. QOTD – I’d be all over Loire I think. Wine for me and the lady – good sights. Great wine.

QOTD. Anywhere in France that makes wine will charm you, but I’ve always wanted to go back to Tuscany around the town of Greve or to Montalcino. The atmosphere there surrounding wine is wonderful.

QOTD: I’m torn… but I’d have to say the Alsace since they have awesome white wines that I adore. 🙂
