Nice to see a blind tasting for a change! Congrats on the book! I’m kind of bummed though that I can’t get it signed by you at Costco in Edison (It was the only signing that I actually had time to attend 🙁 )

  • haha, 2 for 2 with the basket, and the thing is, i actually was wondering

    QOTD:
Gary, i’m poor, the only Napa Cab i’ve ever owned is sat in my house waiting for a good reason to be opened.
I’m currently drinking an italian wine, smells just like bacon fat, incredible.

    Loved the show.
Was interesting, maybe you should do more blind tasting shows.

The new camera angle keeps the show looking fresh and provides more interesting backdrop. Maybe the wines could be in decanters with numbers underneath to identify later.

QOTD Regusci 1997 Cabernet which I bought at the ghost winery on my birthday. At 50 bones it was the most expensive bottle I had ever purchased. It was my most memorable wine experience when I opened it with my dad four years later.

Great eps today and yesterday. Thanks!

BTW, no such thing as a ‘black herbal tea’, it’d have to be one or the other- tea can be black, but herbal preparations are actually tisanes even though we call them teas…

QOTD: Haven’t had enough Napa Valley producers to have a favorite. yet.

(I am so enjoying your book). 🙂

  • Maybe I’ll have to buy the book now….

I like Blind Tasting eps, good to see a master at work 🙂

QOTD – Don’t know, I’ve not had any real Napa Cab, only some of the mass produced, generic California, stuff that may try to fool you into thinking it’s from Napa.
