Love the Barbera wines

Thanks for the show on some Italian wine Gary. I’ve got nothing to do tonight, so I think I’m going to run on down and check some out at my local shop.

QOTD: Without a doubt, it has to be M*A*S*H. Born in 1975, and this was one show I got to watch with my parents, that and Masterpiece Theatre on the local PBS station. The folks were big on “Get outside and climb a tree!” or “Go read a book!”. Yeah, nintendo and atari were definitely not in the house!

QOTD: The Honeymooners is my all time favorite TV show.

Great Show, Barbera is an awesome wine.

QOTD: I think it’s a tossup between Arrested Development and Lost.

Also I’ll try and find some Barbera sometime this week.

I just read your book, and I have to say thanks for not including a SINGLE wine I’ve tried (except for the ’04 Valrose). This means I have exactly 100 wines to try for future Thunder.

QOTD: Didn’t grow up watching TV so I have no real attachments. Favorite shows include:

Family Guy
Monty Python
House, M.D. (partly filmed at my university!)
Wine Library TV (that’s right, you’re up there with Family Guy. And I LIKE Family Guy)
Star Trek

btw… typo on page 17(Rocca Bernarda) of your book: should be “each other”, you have “eat other”. Awesome intro.

Favorite show of all time….. Got to be M*A*S*H…. watched them all new and then all over again for 4 years in undergrad…

Barbera rockes, the Icardi is a winner for the price. Beats Chianti with my Friday night pizza for sure. Keep up the good work.

QOTD: It was only a season, but it was awesome – Firefly

QOTD–In terms of classics, Seinfeld, for sure. Nobody has ever created such a brilliant show. Arrested development comes in a close second in terms of intelligent humor. Recently, although it only lasted one season (mainly b/c it was too smart for the key demographic), Studio 60. Aaron Sorkin is a great writer and Matthew Perry and Bradley Whitford were excellent. I recommend it on DVD.

QOTD: Has to be Star trek…..original then next gen….
