Lived in Fruili for 3 years 2002-5. While I prefer red, Fruili is known for its great whites. My favorite Tocai producers are Franco Toros, Dario Racarro, Mario Drius, Livio Felluga, and tonight I will be drinking a Ronco de Gelso Tocai 2003 (just so happened to pick that one out even before the show).

never had had one but I was excited when I read the notes because I remembered seeing several reviewed in a magazine a couple years back. they were likewise impressed, even to the point of calling them “super whites” Thanks, I’ll seek these out and have a go.

Nope…never tried one but I will now. I purchased a Verdelho today from Australia (Twin Beaks…cute lable) never had a Verdelho either so I’m anxious to open it…love trying new wine!

Definitely had Tocai before, good stuff, but never have been blown away like that before. Wow, going to look for the Bragato, need to see what a 94 GV is all about.
