So has Mott made legal drinking age yet. I kid 42 is my guess. I have had the Ciro many times but did not know it wasn’t Sangiovese. Disappointed in the Travaglini as that is the Gattinara I can get here and I have bought it for over 20 years. wasn’t ’03 the really hot year in Italy? Will have to get a few bottles of the Antonio as it sounds great. Won’t be in SF as I live 2700 miles away and while both parties sound great at the price of plane fare and gas expense in CA, not likely to happen.

QOTD2: Yes! Yes and yes! I live in SF, saw the pics from last year’s event, and I can’t wait to head out to Fort Mason to meet all you Vayniacs and hang with Gary. (Don’t forget drink some great wine.)

On a side note, last time I was at Fort Mason was for Oktoberfest, and it was downright terrible. A horrible event planned for about 1,500 when really about 5,000 people showed up. I’m sure this one will be much more enjoyable.
