Great insight on how technology (weather, etc.) has advanced to allow wine makers more control of their vineyard outcomes. Definitely something I have taken for granted.

Picking up on DaveM’s suggestion, it would be great to see shows with great winemakers in each region of France.

Great episode, looking forward to some more WLTV’s with french winemakers. Great point about the there not being a great bargain with the pricing of the ’06 Bordeauxs. Even with the winemakers bringing prices down 32% vs. the ’05 vintage.

I was just doing the math and looking at today’s $ vs. â?¬, the $ is down about 16% vs. the â?¬ from one year ago today. So, we Americans only save about 16% vs. the ’05 vintage. Damn weak dollar.

Seriously, the tour at the end was great. It’s amazing that such an anonymous looking landscape could be the home of such monumental wines.

Really like the episodes with guests. Especially the winemakers.
