Dalwhinnie is my favourite. Once my new girlfriend asked if she could mix some with diet coke once, beacuse dhe was nervous about meeting my family !!! I couldn’t believe it. Of course, after such an insult, we all know what I had to do about that relationship – 14 years later, she’s my wife.

In fact, I’ve just poured myself a Glenmorangie – Madeira wood finish (the oak monster of the malt world 🙂 ) especially to sip while I watch this episode.

I’m a big Talisker and Islay guy, but will drink just about any single malt.

QOTD: I actually think apple will survive his retirment well, the stock will probably drop a few points initially but would recover quickly. I always figured that he would announce his retirement at launch of some new tech piece anyway.

QOTD : As they say – what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger. If apple has managed to survive despite Steve Jobs, it should thrive without him. Hopefully they can start making software a little less viral also 🙂

I have the Tallisker and Laphroaig sitting at home! I probably average one glass per week, usually a weeknight after a long day at work.

QOTD: Apple survived without him once before. Granted it was going nowhere until he came back. He should get some good people around him right now (like Bill Gates did) and then stay on the board for goodwill.

Since I’m from Bourbon Country I don’t drink much scotch, however, really enjoyed this episode. I’m just happy that one of Gary’s guests finally brought up how well a fine cigar would pair w/ their drink…whether it be scotch, bourbon or wine, the combo is off the heeezz!
