Ohio wines…can’t be any worse than Illinois wines. If you have some Michigan wines, how’s about given those a go? Maybe bust em’ both out when they head-to-head this season.

My favorite thing about Ohio was sweeping their fencing team (OSU) in ’93. Oo-pah!

Nice show, keep the new areas comming. I have to agree with Mark Tolerico though, wines from these other areas are just overpriced for their quality. I made it by Linden Vineyards on the way back from a wedding to try the Petite Verdot that Gary was crazy about and there wines are some of the best I have had in VA. With that said the the price 28 bones for a above average wine is pushing it for me, good people though and I love supporting the growers/winemakers.

QOTD: The best thing about Ohio is how the college football world continues to think Ohio state is one of the top teams in the country and they vote them in the big game and they get their teeth knocked in by a SEC team. Two words Team Speed. For real though Cedar Point is the best park around.

I’m from Evansville IN, and I’m pretty sure all of my drinking water growing up came from the OHIO river which contained all the runoff from Ohio farming and toilet flushings. It has been medically proven that I’m missing one brain lobe, have one meter more small intestine and have 2 pancreases, five kidneys and a liver with a smiley face on it as a result. Oh well, someone loves me anyway.

Don’t worry about the 2 cameras, you have enough energy for both of them. If you didn’t mention UStream I probably wouldn’t have noticed.

QOTD- never been to Ohio, but Io imagine the people there are nice.

Interesting show. I grew up in Idaho and there is a small (growing) wine industry in SW Idaho around the Snake River Valley.

Great show on Ohio Gary… maybe when you get the chance you should take a gander at some Indiana wineries. There are tons just south of Indianapolis around the Bloomington area (boo IU, go Purdue).

I’ve never been to Ohio but they have a good college football team.

I would generally avoid Ohio in most ways. Cleveland is like time traveling to me. None of these wines sounded appealing.

Gary good episode the last 2 wines sounded pretty legit.

-Not much but when my buddy goes there for business there is a bar he goes to that has bikini night on Tuesday so that sounds legit lolz 🙂

My qotd: Why are wines more expensive at the vineyard than at the retail outlet? Shouldn’t no middle men mean lower prices?

Gary & Mott – Great energy and super show!! My mother and my grandfather were born in Ohio. Still have SEVERAL family members living in Ohio. Nice to see their wines featured!!!!!!!! 🙂

Favorite thing about Ohio is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, even though Rush isn’t in it yet, which is a travesty.
