For once I did not enjoy this show. I found the commentaries to be excessively repetitive, almost as if Jim Rome was the guest host. I didn’t find the comments to be very articulate either. The intercom announcements were annoying and intrusive.

In spite of all of that it was good to see two very nice wines featured, especially the Cava.

I am hoping the Pats win by 7 points – but would not be at all surprised to see the Jets come through, since they have been the better team as of late. They certainly had a much easier time with the Rams than the Pats did the week before.

I love the hodgepodge episodes! Great for when I’m not sure what I’m in the mood for… so many directions to choose from! hooray!

I neglected to mention – unless I am mistaken, there was no commentary in the evaluation of the Cava whether it was produced by the methode champenoise, the charmat method, or in some other fashion. This in my view is a mandatory requirement.

Every day, I go to work, come home and tell myself that the show tonight can’t be as good as last night and lo and behold, I’m wrong! Great show, showcasing some very interesting wines.

Sorry for the second comment… But, I just turned 33 in May, and it’s not horrible… Although I do find myself needing to run longer on the treadmill to keep my girlish figure 🙂
