Couldn’t agree with you more on the Cliff Lede Cab. My wife and I visited there over the summer and picked up a few bottles after tasting it. It’s awesome and was a fun find.

QOTD: more blind tastings would be good but not every show! Some of us have different palettes than you do and so the ratings aren’t as educational as the other format.

yes!!! Blind all year… these are always my favorite episodes by far!

Great show. Love the blind tastings, but not every show. I’d say at least once a week though. They are even better when you don’t everything about the wine. Like episodes where you do Syrah/Shiraz from around the world and then try to guess where it’s from and the price.

I love the blind tastings but mix it up with more weight being placed on the blind tastings. Lets do a blind tasting on the cruise!!!

Good show, Gary. I would say to stick with your usual format but maybe throw a blind tasting in once a week or so. It’s fun but you know what they say about too much of a good thing..

I enjoyed this episode and an occasional blind tastings but for the whole year, absolutely NOT. Actually I enjoy shows with just 2-3 wines, gives you time to talk about cellaring potential, food pairings, decanting time. but keep in mind i am your fathers age, not exactly your target audience.

Really good episode, love the blind tastings. I’m a fan of Cliff Lede & they have a Claret that is half the price of the Cab & it shows very well.

QOTD: Love the blind tastings, but I also enjoy the more focussed episodes giving more backround to a specific wine, region etc. This would not be possible with only blind tastings. Once a week blind, maybe just once in two weeks is sufficient!

I would agree with most folks and say once a week. I too appreciate the “no preconceived notion” aspect of the blind tasting, but also dig the other aspects of your show as well; i.e., guests, food choices, etc.

Love this program and have turned many the friend onto it. You rock my man!

We are from the states now living in Switzerland and enjoying a whole new world of wines. Would love to see some more Italian shows since we are drawn to these.
