I have so much to say about this episode.

Firstly, I’m a HUGE NFL fan and can’t imagine a Super Bowl party without lots of red wine. Lots of white and bubbly too! P.S. I’m a Jet’s fan too, Gary!

Secondly, in the novel “Sideways” Miles’ ex-wife loved Merlot, that’s why he didn’t want to drink Merlot!

#2: I’ll take the big finger. I like to smile, so the one big tooth would be way too noticeable. Plus, it would be really easy to give someone the finger if they pissed me off!

My spleen is hurting from laughing so hard! Awesome show. I’d go with the 1 big finger. Definitely best question of the year… haha!

TREMENDOUS show Gary V. I have to give a shout out to your guests, very hardcore, I guess Im saying it was not bobo. anyway:

This definitely didn’t do it for me like it did for the others. It was a 31 minute reminder of all of the stoners who lived in my apartment building junior and senior years. But to your guest’s credit: all of the stoners were avid readers of collegehumor.

I wouldn’t and couldn’t finish this episode. I go to this site for education on wine. i hated this episode. I will recommend this 1 through 614 but skip this one. I will still vote for K Rose though. DIGG! DIGGNATION! TRS! Guys on WLTV

Pay no mind to the haters Gary. This was a fun episode. Probably not for everyday consumption but a nice change of pace.

BTW, sorry MikeyK, most of us come for the education, true, but you can get that anywhere. No one, I repeat, no one, educates all the while ENTERTAINING, as much as OUR Gary.

Great job! I’m excited about the 09′ for you. I want more in depth episodes to “get in the know” being in the industry for 10 years, but f’n love episodes like this with college humor to speed the seed of wine interest.

GREAT episode. Its always interesting to hear how beginners taste wine. I remember tasting wine as a young chap and saying alot of the same things…”it tastes like wine”.
It looked like you had fun filming.

Open your mind as well as your palate.
I thought about bailing on this episode for several minutes. But…as a somm at a “serious” place I am so glad I stuck around for one of the best 1/2 hrs.
First, oh to be 20-something again and be funny cocky. (i’m neither now).
2nd-tannins. I use that a lot and finally someone stopped me the other day and said WTF is that! I’ve gotten to be one of those “200” wine geeks. It was great to hear them say things like “oh i can use non-food descriptors.”
This show was educational!!!! Not everyone cares about being exactly like the WS or RP prototype.
Gary — you are “changing the wine world” I love this episode.

Seemed like the High Times of WLTV. Thats cool though miss those times!

This was a fun show for us younger wine drinkers. Thanks Gary.

Interesting Show

While I did laugh my ass off for most of the show, those two stoners seemed to be overdoing it a bit (as in they didnt seem natural or it seemed as if they were trying too hard to fit what they thought people wanted them to be).
Overall, I did enjoy the show though and love seeing douro wines still showing well.

Why all the hate for Sarah and Streeter? I wouldn’t call them stoners OR hipsters, but I suppose as a Collegehumor fan, I’m more immune…

Anyway, I thought Gary was the annoying one. Not offensively, but after hearing “sniffity-sniff” a few times, I’ll be really pleased if I never hear it again ever.

Truly annoying episode, unhelpful, not very entertaining. The kids tried too hard to be entertaining and failed. What’s the point of this show? Are you plugging some dumb show? Ok, it was a commercial…or something. I don’t think you need to get 20 somethings on the show to get a younger audience if that’s what you were trying. I didn’t think they cared to learn about wine. Now, if you had two college age students that wanted to drink wine and learn more about it and still be silly that would have been fine.

I’m dissappointed in you Gary. This was all over the place, no value to the viewer at all. Unless you like crappy, forced humor.
